Rwanda Safari Rwanda is a small country that packs a
powerful punch as it is the last stronghold of the endangered mountain gorillas. From the capital Kigali, you travel to the Parc National Volcanoes, and spend one or two days trekking to see
these amazing gorillas in their native habitat. It is surely one of the greatest privileges on earth to share a moment with one of our closest relatives!
There are, however, a myriad of other things to do in Rwanda, including treks to see the fascinating and beautiful golden monkeys that are found in the bamboo forests on the slopes of the Virunga Mountains and who provide entertaining viewing as they leap from tree to tree and frolic in the open clearings of the forest. Rwanda also boasts 670 species of birds, which makes it an ornithologist’s heaven.
We believe you should spend at least two days, in addition to the days you spend gorilla trekking, exploring and getting to know this hospitable, vibrant and fascinating corner of Africa. Include Rwanda as part of a longer trip - let us arrange it for you. |
