Emerson and Green - Zanzibar, Tanzania

Situated in the heart of Stone Town, 15 minutes drive from the airport, this is the second tallest building among minarets, Hindu Temple Towers, and church spires.
It has a tower top restaurant and has been renovated to its former glory as the residence of one of the richest men in the Swahili empire.

The tower top restaurant features a panoramic view of the Stone town and the Indian Ocean and is a perfect place to watch the sunset.

Guests are seated on pillows and Persian carpets – shoes are left at the door while dinner is served in five or more courses.

All rooms include fresh flowers and jasmine on the pillow at bedtime.
