Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Tanzania
Ngorongoro is one of the highest peaks in Africa. Today its giant crater conceals another Eden where black rhino find refuge, lions roam the grasslands, flamingos crowd the soda lakes and elephants wander the forests. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the rim surveying this idyllic scene. Inspired by ancient African architecture, the Lodge forms three small villages - two of 12 and one of six private suites, commanding dazzling views of the crater floor 500 metres below. Each suites are an exotic fusion of earth and baroque luxury; a level of sophistication in accommodation and service that vividly contrasts with the primeval environment. Game drives and excursions are arranged to meet the wild life at close quarters and guests can explore their own roots at Olduvai Gorge, the Cradle of Mankind. |
