Cleopatras Mountain Lodge - Drakensbergs, South Africa

Cleopatra’s Mountain Lodge is a haven for food lovers who want to savour the flavours of homegrown vegetables, farm fresh produce, hearty soups and home cured hams. Situated in the Drakensberg Mountains adjoining Giants Castle Nature Reserve, this gourmet hideaway is intimate and personal with magnificent views across the water to the mountains. Guests will be accommodated in personalised rooms where a warm bed with down duvets and pillows, cotton sheets and mohair blankets contribute to the warmth and comfort of a home away from home.

Guests can also enjoy activities such as trout fishing, horse riding, hiking, birding and swimming in crystal clear mountains streams, surrounded by rock pools and waterfalls. Cookery courses are also offered.
